How to Remove Pre-Bonded Extensions

Next, apply several drops of the acetone remover directly onto the crushed bond. Allow the solution to work for a few moments. You should gradually see and feel the bond begin to soften and loosen. Once it has broken down sufficiently, carefully slide the extension away from the natural hair.
If the extension does not release easily, do not continue pulling. Apply a little more remover, crunch the bond again and repeat the process. Taking your time helps minimise strain on the client’s natural hair.
Which Bonds Can This Kit Remove?
The acetone solution is designed for our Chinese keratin bonded hair extensions and other compatible keratin glue-based bonds. It will not effectively remove Italian keratin, polymer-based adhesives or certain specialist bonding products.
For extensions fitted using an Italian adhesive or polymer bond, please use our dedicated Italian Bond Remover instead. Choosing the correct remover for the adhesive type is essential for achieving a safer and more effective removal.
