Begin with clean, dry and detangled hair. Section the natural hair horizontally, starting lower at the back of the head, and secure the first suitable Clip-In weft close to the root without placing unnecessary tension on the hair.
Continue working upwards with the remaining pieces, leaving enough natural hair around the top and sides to conceal the clips. The smaller pieces can then be positioned where additional side volume or blending is required.
Correct placement is important for a natural-looking result. The wefts should be distributed evenly and positioned where the clips can remain covered by the natural hair.
Once fitted, gently brush the natural hair and extensions together. Human hair Clip-Ins can also be styled to help blend the two together, but always use suitable heat protection and avoid excessive temperatures.
Clip-In extensions should be removed before sleeping. Open each clip carefully and release the wefts one at a time rather than pulling them from the natural hair.
After removal, gently brush the extensions from the ends upwards and store them clean, dry and detangled. Keeping the pieces neatly stored can help reduce unnecessary tangling between wears.
Clip-In extensions generally do not need to be washed after every wear. Wash them only when required using suitable hair extension aftercare products and lukewarm water. Always handle the wefts carefully and avoid rubbing or twisting the hair together.
