The HairX Pro Tools Hairdressing Thinning Razor is designed for professional hairdressing techniques where selected areas of hair need to be texturised, shaped or reduced in bulk.
Made from lightweight stainless steel, the razor provides an alternative to thinning scissors for compatible professional cutting and texturising techniques and is supplied with one blade already fitted.
A thinning razor can be used as an alternative to thinning scissors for selected professional cutting techniques, allowing the stylist to work through areas where texture or a reduction in bulk is required.
The finished result will depend on the hair type, section size, blade position, pressure and professional cutting technique being used.
The razor can be used for compatible professional techniques involving thinning, texturising and shaping selected sections of hair.
It is particularly suited to techniques performed on damp hair, although the stylist should always assess the hair and choose an appropriate technique before use.
The tool is made from stainless steel and measures approximately 19cm long x 2cm wide.
Its slim handheld format is designed for professional salon, training or mobile hairdressing use where a compatible razor-cutting technique is being carried out.
The HairX Pro Thinning Razor is supplied with one compatible blade already installed, allowing the tool to be prepared for professional use without fitting the initial blade separately.

When a replacement blade is required, remove and install the blade carefully according to the design of the tool. Avoid touching the cutting edge directly and ensure the replacement blade is correctly positioned before use.
A protective carry case is supplied for storing the thinning razor when it is not in use.
Ensure the tool is appropriately cleaned and dry before storage and take care around the fitted blade whenever handling the razor.
