Our 4.5mm Standard Micro Rings in Black are designed for compatible ring-based hair-extension fitting methods, including Stick-Tip / I-Tip Hair Extensions and selected Micro Ring hair weft application techniques.
Each pack contains approximately 1000 Black Micro Rings. Made from lightweight aluminium, the rings have an approximate outer diameter of 4.5mm with an internal diameter of approximately 3mm.
This larger Micro Ring size is compatible with our 1.0g Stick-Tip Hair Extensions, providing an alternative to the smaller 4mm rings used with other compatible strand sizes.
These Micro Rings can be used with compatible Stick-Tip / I-Tip Hair Extensions as part of a ring-based fitting method.
A suitable section of natural hair is threaded through the Micro Ring before the Stick-Tip extension is positioned within the attachment. The ring is then secured using a compatible hair-extension application plier.
Correct section size, ring positioning and controlled pressure are important during application. Professional training in the relevant hair-extension fitting method is recommended.
The rings may also be used with selected hair weft fitting techniques where compatible Micro Rings form part of the attachment method.
Weft application techniques differ from individual Stick-Tip fitting, so the appropriate tools, sectioning and professional fitting method should always be used.
Micro Rings are available in different colours so the attachment can be coordinated with the natural hair and extension shade where appropriate.
Black is intended for consideration with very dark natural hair and darker extension shades. The most appropriate ring colour will depend on the natural hair, extension colour and attachment placement.
A suitable threader or pulling needle can be used to guide the natural hair through the Micro Ring during application. A compatible smooth-jaw or Micro Ring application plier can then be used to secure the attachment.
During maintenance or removal, the Micro Ring should be carefully reopened using a suitable Micro Ring removal or opening plier rather than pulling the extension directly away from the natural hair.
Professional training in the relevant hair-extension fitting and removal method is recommended.
