Our Large Brown Keratin Hot Glue Sticks – 12 Pack are designed for professional hair-extension tipping, re-tipping and bond preparation using a compatible large hot glue gun.
Made from keratin resin, each Brown glue stick measures approximately 30cm long x 12mm diameter and can be melted using suitable equipment when creating, replacing or modifying compatible keratin attachments on extension hair.
The Brown colour provides a brunette-toned keratin option for compatible hair-extension preparation where the attachment colour needs to coordinate with brown natural hair or extension shades.
The appearance of the finished attachment will depend on the extension shade, amount of keratin used, bond size and professional preparation technique.
Each pack contains 12 large keratin glue sticks, with each stick measuring approximately 30cm in length and 12mm in diameter.
The larger 12mm diameter is intended for use with compatible large hot glue guns. Always check the equipment specifications before inserting or heating a keratin stick.
These keratin glue sticks can be used when preparing compatible fusion and pre-bonded hair extensions, including creating new keratin tips or replacing existing attachments on suitable extension strands.
Previously worn extension hair should be checked before re-tipping to ensure it remains suitable for further use, and any previous keratin or adhesive residue should be appropriately removed first.
Insert the glue stick into a compatible large hot glue gun and allow the keratin to soften according to the equipment and professional preparation method being used.
Apply an appropriate amount of softened keratin to the prepared extension strand and form the required attachment before allowing the keratin to cool. Bond size and the amount of extension hair used should be appropriate for the intended fitting method.
Once applied, the keratin forms the attachment used in the selected extension method. Actual bond performance and wear will depend on extension preparation, the amount of keratin used, fitting technique, maintenance and individual wear.
The glue sticks are supplied sealed to help protect them from dust and environmental moisture before use.
Store the sticks appropriately and keep the packaging closed until required for professional preparation.
Compatible keratin attachments can be professionally removed using HairX Pro Bond Removal Pliers together with an appropriate 50ml Acetone Bond Remover where the keratin system is suitable for acetone-based removal.
The pliers can be used to compress and work apart the compatible keratin attachment before and during application of the remover.
Do not pull or force bonded extension hair from the natural hair. The bond should first be sufficiently broken down before the extension is carefully released.
