Our 4mm Silicone-Lined Micro Rings in Auburn are designed for compatible ring-based hair-extension fitting methods, including Stick-Tip / I-Tip Hair Extensions and selected Micro Ring hair weft application techniques.
Each pack contains approximately 100 Auburn Micro Rings. The rings are made from aluminium and feature an internal silicone lining designed to provide a cushioned contact surface and additional grip around the selected section of natural hair.
These 4mm Silicone-Lined Micro Rings are intended for use with our 0.5g Stick-Tip / I-Tip strands only. The fitting method uses a mechanical attachment and does not require fusion heat, adhesive glue, chemical bonding products, sewing or braiding.
These rings can be used with compatible Stick-Tip / I-Tip Hair Extensions as part of a ring-based fitting method.
A suitable section of natural hair is guided through the Micro Ring using an EZ Threader, pulling needle or other compatible threading tool. The Stick-Tip extension is then positioned within the ring before the attachment is secured using suitable smooth-jaw or Micro Ring application pliers.
Correct section size, ring positioning and controlled pressure are important during application. Professional training in the relevant hair-extension fitting method is recommended.
The internal silicone lining creates a cushioned contact surface between the aluminium ring and the selected section of natural hair.
The lining is also designed to provide additional grip within the attachment. Actual performance will depend on correct fitting, natural hair characteristics, maintenance and individual wear.
Micro Ring fitting uses a mechanical attachment. For compatible Stick-Tip application, the ring is positioned around a suitable section of natural hair together with the extension tip and then secured using suitable application pliers.
This fitting method does not require fusion heat, adhesive glue, chemical bonding products, sewing or braiding.
These Silicone-Lined Micro Rings can also be used with selected hair weft fitting techniques where compatible Micro Rings form part of the attachment method.
Weft-fitting techniques differ from individual Stick-Tip application, so appropriate sectioning, ring placement and professional tools should be used for the chosen fitting method.
Micro Rings are available in different colours so the attachment can be coordinated with the natural hair and extension shade where appropriate.
Auburn is intended for consideration with suitable auburn, warm brunette and red-toned hair or extension shades. The most appropriate colour will depend on the natural hair, extension colour and attachment placement.
As the natural hair grows, ring-based extensions require periodic maintenance. During maintenance or removal, the Micro Ring should be carefully reopened using a suitable Micro Ring opening or removal plier.
Once opened, the extension tip and natural hair can be released without pulling the attachment directly away from the natural hair.
Previously used Micro Rings may be considered for reapplication if they remain suitable for further use and have not become bent, damaged or distorted.
Professional training in the relevant fitting, maintenance and removal method is recommended.

These Auburn 4mm silicone-lined Micro Rings are supplied in bottles of approximately 100 rings. The aluminium ring has a soft internal silicone lining that helps cushion the natural hair and provide grip when correctly fitted. This 4mm size is designed for HairXtensions 0.5g Stick-Tip / I-Tip hair extension strands; for 1.0g Stick-Tips, see our 5mm silicone-lined rings.
These individual Chinese Remy human hair extensions use a pre-bonded keratin Nail-Tip / U-Tip attachment and are fitted professionally using a fusion heat connector.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, this range provides a lighter individual strand that is useful for flexible placement and blending.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands.
As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact amount required depends on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the finished result you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is softened using a professional fusion heat connector and secured around an appropriately sized section of natural hair.

Nail-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using suitable professional removal products and tools to soften and separate the keratin attachment from the natural hair.

With suitable aftercare, the extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. They can be washed, curled and straightened, while care should be taken around the keratin attachments.

For 1.0g strands: choose our 5mm Silicone-Lined Micro Rings.
Working on clean, completely dry hair, section a suitable amount of natural hair and thread it through the ring using a professional threader. Position a compatible 0.5g Stick-Tip / I-Tip extension and close the ring carefully with smooth-jaw fitting pliers.
Avoid fitting too close to the scalp or trapping nearby hairs. Do not over-compress or damage the silicone lining. For removal, gently open the ring with suitable professional pliers before releasing the extension; never pull a closed ring through the hair.
Silicone-lined rings have a cushioned internal surface and provide additional grip when correctly fitted. Choose a shade close to the natural root colour for a discreet finish.
4mm Silicone-Lined: designed for HairXtensions 0.5g Stick-Tip strands. 5mm Silicone-Lined: recommended for HairXtensions 1.0g strands.
Brush gently from the ends while supporting hair near the roots. Avoid oils, rich conditioners and direct heat around attachment points. Dry the roots and silicone-lined rings thoroughly before sleeping.
Do not squeeze a ring repeatedly, slide a closed ring or pull on the extension strand. Arrange a professional check if a ring slips or feels uncomfortable. Keep unused small rings safely away from children.
