Nail tipped hair extensions (also known as u-tip) are removed by using pliers and acetone solution. Start by crushing the keratin bond using removal pliers, after the bond has broken up you can apply a few drops of acetone remover which starts to dissolve the keratin immediately, we recommend using the removal plier again before splitting the bond and sliding it out of the client's head. To finish off use a fine tooth comb to remove any residue left in the hair.
