Rich, deep brunette colour meets 20-inch length with our #3 Dark Chocolate Brown 20 Inch 0.5g Nano-Tip Hair Extensions. This shade has a smooth chocolate-brown appearance that works particularly well with deep brunette hair that is softer than very dark #2 Brown. Each extension weighs 0.5g, allowing the hair to be distributed across multiple individual attachment points, with 25 Nano-Tip strands supplied per bundle.
Nano-Tip extensions are fitted strand by strand using very small Nano Rings. Standard application requires no heat or glue, while the individual fitting method gives the technician control over the placement of the extensions throughout the natural hair.
Nano Rings are approximately 3mm in size and considerably smaller than traditional Micro Ring attachments, helping the attachment points sit discreetly within the natural hair.
Each extension weighs approximately 0.5g per strand. Compared with our fuller-weight 1.0g Nano-Tip extensions, the lighter individual strand weight allows the required amount of extension hair to be distributed across a greater number of individual attachment points.
The strand-by-strand method also provides flexibility when building length and volume. With 20-inch extensions, sufficient coverage and careful blending are particularly important where the natural hair is significantly shorter than the finished extension length.
The appropriate strand weight and overall quantity will depend on the density, condition and starting length of the natural hair, so professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
Each bundle contains 25 individual 0.5g Nano-Tip strands and weighs approximately 12.5g. The quantity required depends on factors such as natural hair thickness, head size, starting length and whether the aim is to add volume, length or both.
These quantities are a general guide only. Short, thick or bluntly cut natural hair can require additional strands to provide sufficient coverage and create a smooth transition into the 20-inch length. A professional consultation is recommended before deciding on the final quantity.

Nano-Tip extensions are removed by carefully reopening the fitted Nano Ring using suitable professional removal pliers. Avoid pulling or dragging a closed ring through the natural hair.

Suitable aftercare can help maintain the appearance and manageability of your Nano-Tip extensions. Brush gently, avoid applying oils or heavy conditioners directly around the Nano Rings and thoroughly dry the attachment area after washing.
Heated styling tools can be used on the human hair with an appropriate heat-protection product. Avoid applying direct heat to the bonded tips and Nano Ring attachment area.

#3 Dark Chocolate Brown is a deep brunette shade with a smooth, chocolate-brown appearance. It provides plenty of brunette depth while remaining softer than the darker #2 Dark Brown shade.
#3 is particularly useful where the natural hair is clearly brunette but #2 appears slightly too deep. If your hair is lighter or more obviously medium brown, one of the lighter brunette shades may provide a better match.
Chocolate brunette shades can show different levels of depth depending on indoor and natural lighting, so compare the extensions against the mid-lengths and ends of the natural hair where possible.
#3 can also be combined with neighbouring brunette shades where the natural hair contains natural depth and tonal variation rather than one completely uniform colour.
