The HairX Pro Weft Sealer is a clear sealing product designed for use when cutting or customising compatible hair extension wefts. Applied around the modified area, it is designed to help secure the weft edge and reduce shedding that can occur after a weft has been cut.
Supplied in an 11ml bottle with a built-in brush applicator, the clear formula can be applied directly to the required area before the weft is fitted.
Hair wefts may sometimes need to be cut or customised to suit the required fitting area. Cutting through a weft can disturb the construction around the newly created edge, which may increase the potential for strands to shed from that area.
HairX Pro Weft Sealer is designed to be applied around the cut or modified section to help seal and support the weft edge before application.
Applying a suitable amount of sealer to a freshly cut weft edge can help reinforce the modified area and reduce shedding associated with cutting or customising the weft.
Results will depend on the weft construction, how it has been cut, the amount of product applied and subsequent handling and maintenance. The product should not be considered a guarantee against all shedding.
The bottle includes a brush applicator, allowing the clear sealer to be applied directly and accurately to the required section of the weft.
This can be particularly useful when working around smaller cut edges where controlled product placement is required.
If you intend to cut or customise a compatible hair weft, apply a small amount of HairX Pro Weft Sealer to each side of the modified weft area.
Allow the product to dry for approximately 10–15 minutes before proceeding with the appropriate hair weft fitting method.
