Supplied as a convenient pack of 4 heat shields, each shield is made from plastic and can be positioned around the selected section of natural hair while a compatible fusion heat connector is used to soften and apply the keratin bond.
Each pack contains 4 Hair Extension Heat Shields, providing a practical addition to a professional pre-bonded hair-extension fitting kit.

Nail-Tip / U-Tip hair extensions are fitted by softening a compatible keratin bond using a heat-fusion connector. During this process, a heat shield can be positioned between the working attachment and the scalp to help reduce direct exposure to the heated tool and softened keratin.
The selected section of natural hair passes through the shield so the bond can be worked on while the surrounding scalp area remains separated from the immediate application point.
These protective shields are particularly useful when fitting compatible Nail-Tip / U-Tip pre-bonded extensions, where a heat connector is used to soften the keratin attachment before it is shaped around the selected section of natural hair.
Correct sectioning and placement are important so that the shield sits appropriately between the scalp and the working area throughout the application process.
