Hair Extension Paddle Brush

Hair extensions require regular brushing to help separate the strands and manage everyday knots before they develop further.

The soft nylon bristles on this HairX Pro brush are designed to move through the extension lengths while allowing greater control when brushing close to attachment areas such as compatible keratin bonds, Micro Rings and Nano Rings.

Always brush carefully around attachment points rather than repeatedly dragging or pulling the brush directly against them.

How to Brush Hair Extensions

Begin brushing at the ends of the hair, gently working through any knots before gradually moving upwards towards the mid-lengths.

Once the lower sections are manageable, continue upwards in stages towards the root area. Supporting the extension hair with your free hand while brushing can help reduce unnecessary tension around the attachment points.

Brushing Tip: Avoid beginning at the roots and pulling the brush through the entire length in one movement. Working from the ends upwards in sections gives you greater control over knots and reduces unnecessary pulling on the extension attachments.

Brushing Around Bonds & Rings

Extra care should be taken when brushing close to semi-permanent extension attachments. Use controlled movements and avoid catching the brush directly underneath or repeatedly against the bonds or rings.

Regular gentle brushing can help keep the extension strands separated and make everyday maintenance more manageable between professional maintenance appointments.

Night-Time Hair Extension Care

Before going to bed, gently brush through the extension lengths and make sure the hair is free from significant knots.

Hair extensions can then be loosely secured in a braid or similar loose style for sleeping. Avoid tying the hair excessively tightly or creating unnecessary tension around the attachment areas.

Large Wooden Paddle Design

Measuring approximately 23cm long x 6.5cm wide, the larger paddle design provides a practical brushing area for working through longer hair-extension lengths.

The brush can be used as part of a regular extension-care routine alongside appropriate washing, conditioning, drying and professional maintenance.
