The HairX Pro Wide-Tooth Detangle Comb is designed for controlled detangling and everyday maintenance of hair extensions, with widely spaced teeth that help work through the lengths without using a densely packed brush or comb design.
Made from thermoplastic, the comb is lightweight, anti-static and suitable for use during washing, styling and regular hair-extension care.
The wide-tooth design provides more space between each tooth, making it useful for gently separating extension strands and working through everyday knots.
When used carefully, the comb can help make detangling more manageable while giving you greater control over the amount of tension applied to the hair.
Start at the ends of the hair and gently work through any knots before gradually moving upwards through the mid-lengths.
Avoid pulling the comb from the roots through the full length of the hair in one movement. Supporting the extension hair with your free hand can help reduce unnecessary tension during detangling.
The wide-tooth comb can also be incorporated into suitable washing and styling routines, including gently separating extension lengths and helping distribute compatible hair-care products through the hair.
Always follow the aftercare guidance appropriate for your particular extension method and avoid applying unsuitable products directly to semi-permanent attachment areas.
Made from thermoplastic, the comb has an anti-static design intended for practical everyday grooming and extension maintenance.
Its lightweight construction and large 25cm x 7cm format make it comfortable to handle when working through longer sections of hair.
When using the comb with semi-permanent extensions such as Nail-Tip / U-Tip or Nano-Tip extensions, take additional care close to the attachment points.
Avoid forcing the comb directly through or underneath keratin bonds, rings or other fittings. Concentrate primarily on gently detangling the extension lengths.
Regular detangling can help keep extension strands separated and make everyday knots easier to manage as part of a suitable hair-extension aftercare routine.
For best control, work through the hair in manageable sections and combine gentle combing with appropriate washing, conditioning and drying practices.

These individual Chinese Remy human hair extensions use a pre-bonded keratin Nail-Tip / U-Tip attachment and are fitted professionally using a fusion heat connector.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, this range provides a lighter individual strand that is useful for flexible placement and blending.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands.
As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact amount required depends on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the finished result you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is softened using a professional fusion heat connector and secured around an appropriately sized section of natural hair.
View our full Nail-Tip / U-Tip fitting guide.
Nail-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using suitable professional removal products and tools to soften and separate the keratin attachment from the natural hair.

With suitable aftercare, the extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. They can be washed, curled and straightened, while care should be taken around the keratin attachments.

Important: Support Fitted Extensions Near the Roots and Never Force the Brush Through Resistant Knots
1. Examine the hair for everyday knots, tangles and any areas where strands have become caught around fitted extension attachments.
2. Separate longer or thicker hair into manageable sections before detangling.
3. Hold the section securely with your free hand, especially when working with fitted extensions, to minimise tension around the natural roots.
4. Begin brushing at the very ends of the hair, using gentle, short strokes to loosen minor knots.
5. Once the ends are comfortably separated, gradually move the brush further upwards through the lower lengths.
6. Continue towards the mid-lengths in stages rather than dragging the brush from the roots through the entire section in one movement.
7. Work through resistant tangles with small, controlled movements. Never apply additional force if the brush becomes caught.
8. When approaching fitted extension attachments, support the hair close to the root area with your free hand.
9. Avoid pulling the bristles directly across Nail-Tip bonds, Nano Rings, Micro Rings, Tape-In panels or fitted Weft tracks.
10. If an attachment catches or pulls, stop brushing and carefully free the hair before continuing.
11. For wet hair, use particularly gentle movements. Follow the specific aftercare instructions for the extension method and avoid unnecessary tension on damp attachment areas.
12. For removable Clip-In extensions and hairpieces, support the weft or attachment securely while brushing from the ends upwards.
13. Repeat until all sections are comfortably detangled and ready for everyday grooming, drying or styling.
14. Remove shed hair from the brush after use and store it in a clean, dry place.
Important: This brush is designed for controlled detangling of wet or dry hair. Severe matting around fitted extension attachments should be assessed by a qualified extension stylist rather than forcibly brushed apart.
• This is a hair detangling and maintenance brush, not an extension fitting or removal tool.
• The compact 18cm × 7cm design makes it practical for everyday brushing, salon use and travel.
• Smooth detangling bristles are designed to help work through everyday knots with gentle, progressive movements.
• Suitable for use on natural hair, synthetic hair and compatible hair extensions.
• Can be used on wet or dry hair, provided the correct technique and extension-specific aftercare instructions are followed.
• Begin brushing at the ends and work gradually towards the mid-lengths and roots.
• Divide long or thick extension hair into manageable sections to improve control.
• Support fitted extensions near the roots with your free hand to minimise pulling on natural hair and attachment points.
• For Nail-Tip / U-Tip extensions, avoid repeatedly dragging bristles across or underneath the keratin bonds.
• For Nano-Tip, Micro Ring and Micro-Loop extensions, avoid catching or pulling against fitted rings and loops.
• For Tape-In extensions, concentrate routine detangling on the lengths and ends rather than directly across the adhesive panels.
• For Wefts and Weaves, detangle the free lengths while avoiding direct tension on fitted tracks or rows.
• For Clip-In extensions, support the hairpiece securely while brushing to prevent unnecessary pulling against the clips.
• Take extra care when detangling wet extension hair, especially around semi-permanent attachment areas.
• Never force the brush through a stubborn knot. Release resistant tangles gradually using short movements and smaller sections.
• Detangle the hair before blow-drying or heat styling to reduce the chance of knots becoming caught around styling brushes.
• Incorporate gentle brushing into the daily hair extension maintenance routine.
• For regular brushing close to compatible fitted attachments, consider a dedicated Hair Extension Loop Brush.
• Use a suitable Wide-Tooth Detangle Comb when carefully separating longer sections of hair.
• If heavy tangling develops around the roots or fitted extension attachments, seek professional maintenance advice rather than attempting forceful removal.
• Use controlled, gentle brushing movements. Never force the brush through resistant knots or heavy matting.
• Always start at the ends and gradually work upwards rather than pulling from the roots through the full length.
• Support the hair near fitted extension attachments to minimise unnecessary tension on natural hair.
• Avoid repeatedly dragging the bristles directly against keratin bonds, Nano Rings, Micro Rings, Tape-In panels or fitted Weft tracks.
• Stop brushing if the brush catches an attachment or causes pulling, discomfort or excessive tension.
• Do not use the brush to forcibly separate severe knots or matting around the root area. Seek advice from a qualified hair-extension stylist.
• The brush is suitable for wet or dry hair, but damp extension hair should always be treated particularly gently.
• Follow the washing, conditioning, drying and detangling instructions appropriate to the hair-extension method.
• Avoid aggressive brushing when hair is heavily saturated or fitted attachment areas are vulnerable to unnecessary pulling.
• Do not use this brush directly against hot hair-straightener plates, curling irons or open flames.
• Keep the brush away from excessive heat that could deform or damage the bristles or body.
• Remove loose hair from the bristles regularly to maintain effective brushing.
• Clean the brush gently using a method appropriate for its materials. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners.
• Rinse or wipe away cleaning residue as appropriate and allow the brush to dry thoroughly before storage.
• Store the brush in a clean, dry place, protected from unnecessary damage to its bristles.
• Inspect the brush periodically and replace it if damaged or distorted bristles could snag the hair.
• For professional salon use, follow appropriate cleaning and hygiene procedures between clients.
• Keep the brush away from young children where unsupervised use may cause hair tangling or accidental injury.
• Regular detangling supports extension maintenance but does not replace professional fitting, adjustment or removal appointments.
• Always ensure fitted extensions are appropriately dried before sleeping, according to the stylist's aftercare instructions.
