For hair that looks black without the intensity of a true jet-black shade, our #1B Off Black 20 Inch 0.5g Nano-Tip Hair Extensions offer a softer, natural-black finish. #1B works particularly well with very dark hair that reveals subtle brunette tones in natural light. At 20 inches, these extensions provide substantial extra length, while the 0.5g individual strands allow the hair to be distributed across multiple discreet attachment points. Each bundle contains 25 Nano-Tip strands.
Nano-Tip extensions are applied individually using very small Nano Rings. The standard fitting method does not require heat or glue, making them a popular option for customers who prefer a strand-by-strand extension system with small attachment points.
Nano Rings are approximately 3mm in size and considerably smaller than traditional Micro Ring attachments, helping the attachment points sit discreetly within the natural hair.
Each extension weighs approximately 0.5g per strand. Compared with our fuller-weight 1.0g Nano-Tip extensions, the lighter individual strand weight allows the required amount of extension hair to be distributed across a greater number of individual attachment points.
This strand-by-strand fitting method also gives the technician flexibility when positioning the extensions to build the required length and volume. With a 20-inch length, careful placement and blending are particularly important when the natural hair is significantly shorter.
The most suitable strand weight and quantity will depend on the condition, density and length of the natural hair, so professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
Each bundle contains 25 individual 0.5g strands and weighs approximately 12.5g. The total amount required varies depending on the natural hair thickness, starting length and whether the aim is to add volume, length or both.
These quantities are a general guide rather than a fixed requirement. Short, thick or bluntly cut natural hair can require additional strands to achieve a smooth blend into the 20-inch extension length. A professional consultation before fitting is recommended.

Nano-Tip extensions are removed by carefully reopening the fitted Nano Ring using suitable professional removal pliers. Avoid pulling or dragging a closed ring through the natural hair.

Good aftercare is important for both the appearance of the extensions and the attachment area. Brush the hair gently, avoid applying oils or heavy conditioners directly around the Nano Rings and make sure the attachment points are thoroughly dried after washing.
As these are human hair extensions, heated styling tools can be used with an appropriate heat-protection product. Avoid applying direct heat to the bonded tips and Nano Ring attachment area.

#1B Off Black sits between a true black and very dark brunette, giving it a softer appearance than #1 Jet Black. It is particularly useful when hair appears black indoors but reveals subtle brown undertones in daylight.
If your natural hair is a strong, solid black with little visible brunette warmth, #1 Jet Black may be the better match. If it is noticeably lighter and clearly brunette, one of our dark brown shades may be more suitable.
Because very dark shades can look similar on a screen, comparing the extension colour against the mid-lengths and ends of the natural hair is preferable to matching only against the roots.
