Our #8 Medium Brown 20 Inch 0.5g Nano-Tip Hair Extensions offer a balanced brunette shade with a softer, lighter appearance than deeper chocolate and dark brown colours. The 20-inch length is ideal for adding noticeable extra length, while each lightweight 0.5g strand allows the extension hair to be distributed across multiple individual attachment points. Each bundle contains 25 Nano-Tip strands.
Nano-Tip extensions are fitted strand by strand using very small Nano Rings. Standard application requires no heat or glue, giving the technician flexibility to position individual extensions throughout the natural hair according to the required coverage, length and volume.
Nano Rings are approximately 3mm in size and considerably smaller than traditional Micro Ring attachments, helping the attachment points sit discreetly within the natural hair.
Each extension weighs approximately 0.5g per strand. Compared with our fuller-weight 1.0g Nano-Tip extensions, the lighter individual strand weight allows the required amount of extension hair to be distributed across a greater number of individual attachment points.
The strand-by-strand method gives the technician control over how the extensions are positioned and distributed. With a 20-inch finished length, careful placement and sufficient coverage are particularly important when creating a smooth blend from shorter natural hair.
The most suitable strand weight and overall quantity will depend on the density, condition and starting length of the natural hair. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
Each bundle contains 25 individual 0.5g Nano-Tip strands and weighs approximately 12.5g. The amount required will depend on factors such as natural hair density, starting length and whether the goal is to add volume, additional length or both.
These quantities are a general guide only. Particularly thick, short or bluntly cut natural hair may require additional strands to create sufficient coverage and a smooth transition into the 20-inch length. A professional consultation is recommended before deciding on the final quantity.

Nano-Tip extensions are removed by carefully reopening the fitted Nano Ring using suitable professional removal pliers. Avoid pulling or dragging a closed ring through the natural hair.

Suitable aftercare can help maintain the appearance and manageability of your Nano-Tip extensions. Brush gently, avoid applying oils or heavy conditioners directly around the Nano Rings and thoroughly dry the attachment area after washing.
Heated styling tools can be used on the human hair with an appropriate heat-protection product. Avoid applying direct heat to the bonded tips and Nano Ring attachment area.

#8 Medium Brown is a balanced brunette shade with a softer, medium-depth appearance. It is lighter than #6 Brown while still retaining a clear brunette finish.
This makes #8 a useful option where deeper brown shades appear too dark but the hair is not yet light enough for a true light-brown shade. If your natural hair is slightly deeper, #6 Brown may provide a better match; if it is lighter, #10 Light Brown may be more suitable.
Medium brunette hair can contain several subtly different tones, so #8 can also be blended with neighbouring brown shades where additional tonal variation is needed.
For the most accurate colour match, compare the extensions against the mid-lengths and ends of the natural hair in good natural light rather than matching only against the roots.
