Supplied as a pack of 10 protective discs, each shield can be positioned around the selected section of natural hair while a compatible fusion heat connector is used to soften and work with the keratin bond.

During Nail-Tip / U-Tip application, a compatible keratin bond is softened using a fusion heat connector. A heat shield can be positioned between the scalp and the working attachment to help reduce direct exposure to the heated tool and softened keratin.
The selected section of natural hair passes through the shield, allowing the extension bond to be worked on while creating separation between the scalp and the immediate application area.
These protective discs are particularly useful when fitting compatible Nail-Tip / U-Tip pre-bonded extensions, where a heat connector is used to soften the keratin attachment before it is shaped around the selected section of natural hair.
Correct sectioning and shield placement are important so that the protective disc remains appropriately positioned between the scalp and the working area throughout the application process.
Separate the appropriate section of natural hair and position it through the opening in the heat shield. Position the shield around the working section according to the Nail-Tip / U-Tip fitting method being followed.
The compatible keratin attachment can then be heated and shaped using the appropriate fusion connector and professional application technique.
