Add soft natural-black length and fuller-looking results with our #1B Off Black 18 Inch 1.0g Stick-Tip (I-Tip) Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, these individual extensions feature slim Stick-Tip ends designed for professional fitting using suitable 4.5mm Micro Rings or Shrinkies.
Each strand weighs approximately 1.0g, providing approximately 25g of hair across 25 strands. #1B Off Black is a softer, more natural-looking black than #1 Jet Black and can show subtle brunette undertones in brighter or natural light.
Stick-Tip hair extensions, also known as I-Tip extensions, are individual human hair strands supplied with a slim, firm tip designed to be secured to small sections of natural hair using a suitable attachment method.
With a Micro Ring fitting, a small section of natural hair and the Stick-Tip extension are positioned through the ring before it is secured using professional extension pliers. For these 1.0g strands, 4.5mm Micro Rings are recommended.
Micro Ring fitting does not require heat or adhesive during application. Stick-Tips can also be fitted using suitable Shrinkies. With this method, controlled heat is applied using a Hair Extension Heat Connector to secure the Shrinkie around the extension and natural hair.
At approximately 1.0g per strand, these extensions contain twice the hair weight of a 0.5g strand. This allows a greater amount of hair to be added using fewer individual extension strands. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. As a general guide, approximately 100–125 strands (4–5 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 50–75 strands (2–3 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact quantity required will depend on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the amount of additional length or volume you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
The attachments and tools required will depend on the fitting method being used. For Micro Ring application, we recommend suitable 4.5mm Micro Rings together with smooth-jaw professional extension pliers. Shrinkie applications require compatible Shrinkies and controlled heat.

When fitting with Micro Rings, a suitable 4.5mm ring is positioned onto a small section of natural hair using a hook or loop tool. The Stick-Tip extension is then inserted into the ring before it is secured using smooth-jaw professional extension pliers.
When fitting with Shrinkies, the extension and natural hair are positioned within the attachment before controlled heat is applied to secure it.

Stick-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using the appropriate technique for the attachment method used. Micro Rings are opened using suitable removal pliers before the individual extension strand is gently released from the natural hair.

With appropriate fitting, care and maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. The human hair can be washed, curled and straightened, but correct care of both the extensions and attachment areas is important throughout wear.
Avoid applying oils, conditioners or heavy styling products directly around the attachment areas, as this may contribute to slippage. Keep direct heat away from Micro Rings, Shrinkies and other attachment points, and brush the extensions carefully while supporting the fitted areas.

#1B Off Black is a soft, natural-looking black shade with slightly less intensity than #1 Jet Black. In brighter or natural light it can reveal subtle brunette undertones, giving it a softer appearance than a true jet-black shade.
Compared with #1 Jet Black, #1B Off Black is slightly lighter and less intense. #1 remains a deep true black, while #1B provides a softer transition between black and very dark brunette tones.
Compared with #2 Dark Brown, #1B remains noticeably darker. #2 has a richer deep-brunette appearance, while #1B still reads predominantly as black.
If your hair looks black indoors but reveals subtle brown tones in natural daylight, #1B Off Black may provide a closer match than #1 Jet Black.
For the best colour comparison, check the extensions against the mid-lengths and ends of your natural hair in good natural daylight rather than matching only against the roots.
