Add rich dark-brown length and fuller-looking results with our #2 Dark Brown 18 Inch 1.0g Stick-Tip (I-Tip) Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, these individual extensions feature slim Stick-Tip ends designed for professional fitting using suitable Micro Rings or Shrinkies.
Each strand weighs approximately 1.0g, providing approximately 25g of hair across 25 strands. #2 Dark Brown is a rich, deep brunette shade positioned between #1B Off Black and the softer chocolate-brown shades, making it particularly suited to very dark brown hair.
Stick-Tip hair extensions, also known as I-Tip extensions, are individual human hair strands supplied with a slim, firm tip designed to be secured to small sections of natural hair using a suitable attachment method.
With a Micro Ring fitting, a small section of natural hair and the Stick-Tip extension are positioned through the ring before it is secured using smooth-jaw professional extension pliers. This application method does not require heat.
Stick-Tips can also be fitted using suitable Shrinkies. With this method, controlled heat is applied using a Hair Extension Heat Connector to secure the Shrinkie around the extension and natural hair.
At approximately 1.0g per strand, each individual extension contains twice the hair weight of a 0.5g strand. The number and placement of extensions should be selected according to the natural hair density, existing length and required result. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. For this product, the recommended guide is approximately 100–125 strands (4–5 bundles) for a full-head application and around 50–75 strands 2-3 bundles) for a half-head application.
The exact quantity required will depend on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the amount of additional length or volume you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
The attachments and tools required will depend on the fitting method being used. Micro Ring applications require suitable rings and smooth-jaw professional extension pliers, while Shrinkie applications require compatible Shrinkies and controlled heat.

When fitting with Micro Rings, a suitable ring is positioned onto a small section of natural hair using a hook or loop tool. The Stick-Tip extension is then inserted into the ring before it is secured using smooth-jaw professional extension pliers.
When fitting with Shrinkies, the extension and natural hair are positioned within the attachment before controlled heat is applied to secure it.

Stick-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using the appropriate technique for the attachment method used. Micro Rings are opened using suitable removal pliers before the individual extension strand is gently released from the natural hair.

With appropriate fitting, care and maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. The human hair can be washed, curled, straightened and styled, but correct care of both the extensions and attachment areas is important throughout wear.
Avoid applying oils, conditioners or heavy styling products directly around the attachment areas, as this may contribute to slippage. Keep direct heat away from Micro Rings, Shrinkies and other attachment points, and brush the extensions carefully while supporting the fitted areas.

#2 Dark Brown is a rich, deep brunette shade suited to natural or coloured hair with very dark brown colouring through the mid-lengths and ends.
Compared with #1B Off Black, #2 Dark Brown is noticeably more brunette. #1B still appears predominantly black with subtle brown undertones, while #2 provides a clearly dark-brown finish.
Compared with #3 Dark Chocolate Brown, #2 Dark Brown is deeper and darker. #3 has a slightly softer chocolate-brown appearance, while #2 sits closer to the darkest end of the brunette range.
If your hair looks almost black indoors but clearly brown in natural daylight, compare #2 Dark Brown with #1B Off Black before ordering.
For the best colour comparison, check the extensions against the mid-lengths and ends of your natural hair in good natural daylight rather than matching only against the roots.
