The Hair Extension Loop Brush is designed for regular brushing and maintenance of hair extensions, using looped bristles that can be worked carefully through the hair and around compatible extension attachment areas.

Its lightweight design makes it practical for everyday use at home or while travelling, helping you manage extension lengths without using conventional bristles directly against bonds or rings.

Product Details

  • Product: Hair Extension Loop Brush
  • Brush Type: Loop Bristle Brush
  • Design: Lightweight
  • Length: Approximately 22cm
  • Width: Approximately 6cm
  • Suitable For: Hair Extensions & Regular Hair Maintenance

Loop Bristles for Hair Extensions

The brush features specially shaped looped bristles designed to move through extension hair while allowing greater control around attachment areas.

This makes the brush particularly useful when maintaining compatible keratin bonds, Micro Rings, Nano Rings and other semi-permanent extension fittings.

Always use gentle, controlled movements around attachment points and avoid repeatedly pulling the brush against the bonds or rings.

For Daily Hair Extension Maintenance

Regular brushing helps keep extension strands separated and makes everyday knots easier to manage before they become more difficult to work through.

The Loop Brush can be incorporated into your daily extension-care routine, including before styling and before securing the hair for sleeping.

How to Brush Hair Extensions

Begin at the ends of the hair and gently work through any knots before gradually moving upwards through the mid-lengths.

Continue towards the root area in stages, supporting the extension hair with your free hand where appropriate to reduce unnecessary tension around the attachment points.

Brushing Tip: Avoid starting at the roots and pulling the brush through the full length of the hair in one movement. Working from the ends upwards gives you greater control when managing knots and extension attachment areas.

Brushing Around Bonds & Rings

When brushing close to keratin bonds, Micro Rings or Nano Rings, take extra care not to hook or pull directly against the attachment.

Gentle brushing around these areas can help maintain separation between the extension strands as part of a regular aftercare routine.

Lightweight & Travel-Friendly

Measuring approximately 22cm x 6cm, the brush has a lightweight design that makes it convenient for regular use and easy to carry in a handbag or travel bag.

It can be kept alongside your usual extension-care products for brushing throughout the day when required.

Ideal For: Everyday Home Care, Salon Maintenance and Travel
Important: Do Not Force the Brush Through Knots or Pull Against Fitted Extension Attachments

1. Before brushing, check the hair for knots, tangles and any areas where extension strands may have become caught around the attachments.

2. Divide long or thick hair into manageable sections so that each section can be brushed gently and thoroughly.

3. Hold the extension hair securely with your free hand, particularly when working with fitted extensions.

4. Begin brushing at the very ends, using gentle, short strokes to separate the strands.

5. Gradually move upwards through the lower lengths as the knots become easier to manage.

6. Continue through the mid-lengths, taking care not to pull on the hair or place unnecessary tension on the root area.

7. When approaching fitted extension attachments, support the natural hair close to the roots with your free hand.

8. Carefully guide the looped bristles through suitable sections of hair, allowing the brush to move around compatible attachment areas without forcing it underneath bonds or rings.

9. Take particular care around keratin bonds, Nano Rings, Micro Rings, Tape-In panels and fitted Weft rows.

10. If the bristles catch on an attachment or resistant knot, stop immediately and carefully release the hair before continuing.

11. Work through each section until the extension lengths are comfortably separated and manageable.

12. For removable extensions, such as Clip-Ins, support the hairpiece securely while brushing from the ends upwards.

13. Incorporate gentle brushing into your daily aftercare routine, especially before styling and before securing the hair for bedtime.

14. After use, carefully remove any shed hair caught between the loops and store the brush in a clean, dry place.

Important: Avoid beginning at the roots and dragging the brush through the full length in one movement. Follow the specific aftercare instructions for the extension method being worn.

• This is a hair-extension maintenance brush, not an application or removal tool.

• The loop-shaped bristles are designed to move carefully through extension hair while reducing direct snagging around compatible fitted attachment points.

• The lightweight 22cm × 6cm design is convenient for everyday brushing, handbags and travel.

• Always begin brushing at the ends and gradually work upwards through manageable sections.

• Support the hair close to the roots when brushing fitted extensions to minimise unnecessary tension.

• With Nail-Tip / U-Tip extensions, avoid pushing the loops directly underneath or repeatedly dragging them against keratin bonds.

• With Nano-Tip extensions, take particular care not to hook the bristles around fitted Nano Rings.

• With Stick-Tip or Micro Ring extensions, avoid catching or pulling directly against the rings.

• With Micro-Loop extensions, keep the brushing movement gentle and avoid pulling against the fitted loop attachments.

• With Tape-In extensions, concentrate on the free lengths and avoid repeatedly catching the edges of adhesive panels.

• With fitted Wefts and Weaves, carefully brush the lengths while avoiding direct pulling against the fitted row or track.

• With removable Clip-In extensions, support the weft securely while brushing the hairpiece from the ends upwards.

• Divide thick or long extensions into smaller sections to improve brushing control.

• Never force the loop brush through heavy knots or tangles. Release resistant knots carefully before continuing.

• Regular gentle brushing helps keep extension strands separated and reduces the chance of everyday tangles developing into larger knots.

• Brush the extension lengths carefully before bedtime and follow the recommended sleeping routine for the fitted method.

• For particularly difficult tangles, use an appropriate detangling tool or seek professional extension-maintenance advice.

• Clean loose hair from the bristles regularly to maintain the brush.

• Replace the brush if damaged loops or rough components begin catching the hair.

• Pair with the HairX Pro Paddle Brush or Wide-Tooth Detangle Comb for complementary daily hair care.

• Use gentle, controlled brushing movements and avoid pulling or forcing the brush through resistant tangles.

• Always begin at the ends and work upwards gradually rather than dragging the brush from roots to ends.

• Support the extension hair close to the fitted attachment area to help reduce unnecessary tension on natural hair.

• Although the looped bristles are designed for extension-friendly brushing, they should not be forced beneath or against fitted bonds, rings, tapes or Weft tracks.

• Stop brushing if a loop catches on an attachment or causes pulling or discomfort.

• Do not use the brush to forcibly separate severe matting close to the roots or fitted extension attachments.

• If fitted extensions become heavily tangled or matted around their attachment areas, seek advice from a qualified extension stylist.

• Be especially gentle with damp hair and follow the appropriate detangling and drying instructions for the extension method.

• Remove trapped hair from the looped bristles regularly.

• Clean the brush gently using a method appropriate for its construction. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaning or unnecessary prolonged soaking.

• Allow the brush to dry thoroughly after cleaning and before storing.

• Avoid exposing the brush to open flames, heated styling plates or concentrated high temperatures that could damage the bristle loops.

• Check the loops and brush body periodically for damage or rough edges that might catch the hair.

• Replace the brush if loops become broken, distorted or unsuitable for gentle brushing.

• Keep the brush clean and dry when travelling or storing it between uses.

• For salon use, follow suitable professional brush-cleaning and hygiene procedures between clients.

• Keep the brush away from young children where unsupervised use may cause tangling or accidental injury.

• Follow the recommended washing, conditioning, drying and sleeping guidance for the extension method being worn.

• Brushing helps maintain extension hair but does not replace professional maintenance, adjustment or removal appointments.
