Add deep black length and fuller-looking results with our #1 Jet Black 18 Inch 0.5g Stick-Tip (I-Tip) Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, these individual extensions feature slim keratin-sealed Stick-Tip ends designed for professional fitting using suitable Micro Rings, Copper Tubes or Shrinkies.
Each strand weighs approximately 0.5g, providing approximately 12.5g of hair across 25 strands. #1 Jet Black is the deepest true-black shade in the range, making it particularly suited to naturally black or coloured jet-black hair.
Stick-Tip hair extensions, also known as I-Tip extensions, are individual human hair strands supplied with a slim, firm tip designed to be secured to small sections of natural hair using a suitable attachment method.
With a Micro Ring, Micro Bead or Copper Tube fitting, the natural hair and Stick-Tip extension are positioned through the attachment, which is then secured using professional extension pliers. These fitting methods do not require heat.
Stick-Tips can also be fitted using suitable Shrinkies. With this method, controlled heat is applied using a Hair Extension Heat Connector to secure the Shrinkie around the extension and natural hair.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, these extensions provide a lightweight individual-strand option. The most appropriate fitting method, attachment size, strand quantity and placement will depend on the density and condition of the natural hair and the finished result required. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–125 strands (3–5 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact quantity required depends on factors including your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the amount of length or volume you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
The attachments and tools required will depend on the fitting method being used. Micro Ring, Micro Bead and Copper Tube applications require suitable attachments and professional extension pliers, while Shrinkie applications require compatible Shrinkies and controlled heat.

When fitting with Micro Rings, Micro Beads or Copper Tubes, a suitable attachment is positioned onto a small section of natural hair, the Stick-Tip extension is inserted and the attachment is secured using professional extension pliers.
When fitting with Shrinkies, the extension and natural hair are positioned within the attachment before controlled heat is applied to secure it.

Stick-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using the appropriate technique for the attachment method used. Micro Rings, beads and suitable tubes are opened using professional removal pliers before the extension strand is gently released from the natural hair.

With appropriate fitting and maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. Correct care of both the extensions and attachment areas is important throughout wear.
Avoid applying oils, conditioners or heavy styling products directly around the attachment areas, as this may contribute to slippage. Keep direct heat away from Micro Rings, tubes, Shrinkies and other attachment points, and brush the extensions carefully while supporting the fitted areas.

#1 Jet Black is the deepest true-black shade in our colour range. It is particularly suited to naturally black hair or hair that has been coloured a strong, consistent jet black.
Compared with #1B Off Black, #1 Jet Black has a deeper and more intense black appearance. #1B has a softer natural-black finish with subtle brunette colouring that may become more noticeable in natural daylight.
If your hair appears extremely dark indoors but shows softer brown tones in daylight, #1B Off Black may be worth comparing before choosing #1 Jet Black.
For the best colour comparison, check the extensions against the mid-lengths and ends of your natural hair in good natural daylight rather than matching only against the roots.
