Add a bold burst of colour with our Electric Blue 18 Inch 0.5g Nail-Tip (U-Tip) Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, these silky-straight individual extensions feature pre-bonded keratin nail-shaped tips designed for professional fusion application.
Each strand weighs approximately 0.5g, providing approximately 12.5g of hair across 25 strands. Electric Blue is a vivid, eye-catching blue fashion shade that can be used to create colourful highlights, contrasting sections or more dramatic blue effects throughout the hair.
Nail-Tip hair extensions are individual human hair strands supplied with a pre-bonded keratin tip. During fitting, the keratin bond is heated using a Hair Extension Heat Connector and secured around a small section of the natural hair.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, these extensions provide a lighter individual strand than the 1.0g option. This makes them useful for distributing vibrant colour throughout the hair, creating individual highlights or combining several shades for a customised result.
The most appropriate number and placement of strands will depend on the density and condition of the natural hair and the finished look you want to achieve. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
When using Electric Blue primarily for coloured highlights or accent sections, considerably fewer strands may be required than for a full-head application.
The exact quantity required depends on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the amount of colour, length or volume you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is softened using a fusion heat connector and formed around an appropriately sized section of natural hair during application.

With appropriate maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. The human hair can be washed and styled, but correct care of both the extensions and keratin bonds is important throughout wear.
Avoid applying direct heat to the keratin bonds. We also do not recommend dyeing, bleaching or toning the extensions, and exposure to chlorine or saltwater should be avoided.

Electric Blue is a bold, vibrant fashion shade designed to create noticeable blue colour rather than match a conventional natural hair shade. The individual 0.5g strands allow the amount and placement of colour to be customised during fitting.
Individual Electric Blue strands can be distributed through the hair for flashes of colour or grouped together to create stronger blue sections. They can also be combined with other shades from the Funky & Vibrant range for a multi-coloured effect.
Compared with Purple, Electric Blue produces a distinctly blue finish rather than a violet-purple tone, making the two shades useful either individually or together when creating contrasting fashion-colour sections.
Vibrant shades can appear different depending on lighting and the surrounding hair colour, so we recommend checking the colour in good natural daylight.
