The HairX Pro Hair Weaving Thread & Needle Set brings together the essential sewing accessories required for compatible hair weft and weaving methods. Each kit includes a large roll of nylon bonded thread, six application needles in three different sizes and a professional stitch picker for maintenance and removal.
The approximately 1500-yard thread roll provides a generous supply for repeated professional weaving services and is available in Black, Brown or Blonde to coordinate with different hair and weft shades where appropriate.
Combining thread, different needle sizes and a stitch-removal tool in one set provides useful equipment for the application, maintenance and removal stages of compatible sewn hair-weft methods.
Each kit contains approximately 1500 yards of nylon bonded weaving thread. The thread is designed for use with compatible sew-in hair-extension and weaving techniques where stitching forms part of the fitting method.
Thread performance will depend on the chosen weaving technique, stitch placement, tension, weft construction and subsequent maintenance.
Choose from Black, Brown or Blonde weaving thread depending on the hair colour, weft shade and intended fitting area.
Selecting an appropriate thread shade can help coordinate the stitching with the surrounding hair and weft, although the finished appearance will also depend on placement and application technique.
The set includes 6 black weaving needles across 3 different sizes, providing a choice of needle options for compatible hair-weaving and sew-in techniques.
The most appropriate needle size will depend on the particular weft, stitching method and application technique being used.
A professional stitch picker is included for cutting and releasing compatible weaving thread during maintenance or removal.
Work carefully when cutting stitches to distinguish the weaving thread from the natural hair and extension hair before applying pressure with the tool.
The HairX Pro Hair Weaving Thread & Needle Set can be used with compatible sew-in extensions and hair-weaving methods where a needle-and-thread application forms part of the chosen fitting technique.
Hair-weft methods can vary considerably, so always select the appropriate needle, thread tension and stitching technique for the individual application.

These individual Chinese Remy human hair extensions use a pre-bonded keratin Nail-Tip / U-Tip attachment and are fitted professionally using a fusion heat connector.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, this range provides a lighter individual strand that is useful for flexible placement and blending.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands.
As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact amount required depends on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the finished result you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is softened using a professional fusion heat connector and secured around an appropriately sized section of natural hair.
View our full Nail-Tip / U-Tip fitting guide.
Nail-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using suitable professional removal products and tools to soften and separate the keratin attachment from the natural hair.

With suitable aftercare, the extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. They can be washed, curled and straightened, while care should be taken around the keratin attachments.

1. Select the appropriate weaving thread colour (Black, Brown or Blonde) to coordinate with the client's natural hair and extension weft.
2. Prepare the natural hair using the chosen professional sew-in or weaving technique, ensuring the foundation is comfortable and secure.
3. Select a suitable needle from the three available sizes based on the weft construction and application method.
4. Cut an appropriate length of bonded nylon thread and thread the needle, securing the thread as required by the fitting technique.
5. Position the compatible hair weft against the prepared foundation and begin stitching using the correct professional method.
6. Work systematically along the weft, maintaining consistent stitch placement and comfortable tension without pulling excessively on natural hair.
7. Secure and finish the stitching according to the chosen weaving technique, ensuring no loose thread ends remain.
8. During maintenance or removal, carefully use the included stitch picker to release the sewing thread without cutting or damaging natural hair or the extension weft.
• Choose Black, Brown or Blonde thread to complement the client's hair and help keep the finished stitching discreet.
• Use the most appropriate needle size for the selected weft, foundation and professional weaving technique.
• Keep stitches evenly spaced and secure, but avoid excessive tension that could cause discomfort or stress on natural hair.
• Use sufficient thread for each section while avoiding unnecessarily long lengths that may tangle during application.
• Check that the weft lies comfortably against the head without pulling or creating excessive bulk.
• Inspect the stitching and attachment points during maintenance appointments for signs of loosening or excessive tension.
• Use the included stitch picker carefully when removing sewn-in extensions, identifying the sewing thread before cutting.
• Bonded nylon thread provides a practical option for compatible weaving methods, but installation longevity depends on correct fitting, maintenance and aftercare.
• Professional training is recommended for sew-in extensions and hair-weaving techniques.
• Hair-weaving needles and the stitch picker have sharp points or cutting edges. Handle carefully to avoid injury.
• Keep all needles and cutting accessories away from children and pets.
• Do not sew through the scalp or pull stitches excessively tightly against natural hair.
• Stop or adjust the fitting if the client experiences discomfort, pulling or irritation.
• Use the stitch picker only to cut identifiable sewing thread. Avoid cutting natural hair or extension hair during removal.
• Inspect needles before use and replace any that are bent, damaged or blunt.
• Keep tools clean and follow appropriate professional hygiene practices between clients.
• Check sewn-in extensions regularly for excessive tension, loose stitching or matting around the attachment area.
• Store needles and the stitch picker securely after use, keeping sharp components protected.
• Application and removal should be performed by a professional trained in the relevant sew-in or weaving method.
