Add neutral grey length and extra fullness with our Grey 18 Inch 0.5g Micro-Loop Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, each individual strand comes with a pre-attached loop and Micro Ring, making the extensions ready for professional Micro-Loop fitting.
Each extension weighs approximately 0.5g, with 25 strands providing approximately 12.5g of hair. At approximately 18 inches / 46cm in length, these extensions can be used to add noticeable length, additional volume or a combination of both.
Grey is a neutral grey shade designed for hair with naturally grey or grey-toned colouring. Compared with Silver, it has a more traditional neutral-grey appearance rather than a brighter metallic silver tone.
Micro-Loop hair extensions are individual human hair strands supplied with their own pre-attached loop and Micro Ring. Because the attachment is already positioned on each strand, there is no need to add a separate Micro Ring before fitting.
During application, a small section of natural hair is passed through the pre-attached loop. Pulling the loop guides the natural hair into the attached Micro Ring before the ring is positioned and secured using suitable professional extension pliers.
The Micro-Loop fitting method does not require heat, glue or bonding adhesive. Correct section size, attachment positioning and ring tension remain important for a secure and comfortable professional application.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, the extension hair is distributed across multiple individual attachment points. The appropriate quantity and placement should be selected according to the density and condition of the natural hair and the desired finished result.

These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. For our 0.5g Micro-Loop range, the recommended guide is approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) for a full-head application and around 100–150 strands (4–6 bundles) for a half-head application.
The exact quantity required will depend on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the amount of additional length or volume you want to achieve. Shorter or particularly thick natural hair may require additional extension hair. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
As the loop and Micro Ring are already attached to each extension strand, fitting primarily requires suitable professional extension pliers. The attached Micro Ring is secured once the natural hair has been guided through the pre-attached loop and positioned correctly.

Micro-Loop extensions should be removed carefully by reopening the attached Micro Ring with suitable removal pliers before gently releasing the extension strand from the natural hair.
The Micro Ring should not be pulled or forced from the natural hair while closed. Professional removal is recommended to help minimise unnecessary tension around the fitted areas.

With appropriate fitting, care and maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. The Chinese Remy human hair can be washed, straightened and styled, but correct care of both the extension hair and Micro Ring attachment areas is important throughout wear.
Always use a suitable heat-protection product when using heated styling tools on the extension hair. Avoid applying direct heat to the Micro Rings or attachment areas.
Oils, conditioners and heavy styling products should also be kept away from the fitted points, as these may contribute to slippage. Brush the extensions carefully while supporting the attachment areas.

Grey is a neutral grey shade suited to hair with natural grey colouring or a more traditional grey tone. It offers a softer and more neutral appearance than brighter silver shades.
Compared with Silver, Grey has a more muted and neutral character. Silver is cooler, brighter and has a more noticeable metallic grey-silver appearance, whereas Grey provides a more understated result.
If your natural hair has a classic neutral-grey appearance rather than a bright, cool silver tone, Grey may provide the closer shade match.
If your hair contains a mixture of grey and lighter strands, compare the extensions against the mid-lengths and ends in good natural daylight to determine whether Grey or Silver provides the better overall match.
