Our #4 Chocolate Brown 20 Inch 0.5g Nano-Tip Hair Extensions offer a rich, classic brunette colour with a smooth chocolate-brown finish. This versatile shade works well with natural medium-to-dark brunette hair where a softer brown is needed without the depth of the darker #2 and #3 shades. The 20-inch length provides plenty of additional length, while each extension weighs 0.5g and is supplied in bundles of 25 individual strands.
Nano-Tip extensions are fitted individually using very small Nano Rings. Standard application requires no heat or glue, and the strand-by-strand method allows the technician to distribute the extensions throughout the natural hair according to the required coverage, length and volume.
Nano Rings are approximately 3mm in size and considerably smaller than traditional Micro Ring attachments, helping the attachment points sit discreetly within the natural hair.
Each extension weighs approximately 0.5g per strand. Compared with our fuller-weight 1.0g Nano-Tip extensions, the lighter individual strand weight allows the required amount of extension hair to be distributed across a greater number of individual attachment points.
The individual fitting method gives the technician flexibility when creating the required coverage and distribution. With a 20-inch finished length, careful positioning and sufficient hair are particularly important when blending extensions into shorter natural hair.
The most suitable strand weight and quantity will depend on the density, condition and starting length of the natural hair. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
Each bundle contains 25 individual 0.5g Nano-Tip strands and weighs approximately 12.5g. The quantity needed will vary depending on the natural hair density, starting length and whether the aim is to increase volume, length or both.
These quantities are a general guide only. Particularly short, thick or bluntly cut hair may require additional strands to provide sufficient coverage and achieve a smooth blend into the 20-inch extension length. A professional consultation is recommended before deciding on the final quantity.

Nano-Tip extensions are removed by carefully reopening the fitted Nano Ring using suitable professional removal pliers. Avoid pulling or dragging a closed ring through the natural hair.

Regular and suitable aftercare can help maintain the silky appearance and manageability of your Nano-Tip extensions. Brush gently, keep oils and heavy conditioners away from the Nano Ring attachment area and make sure the attachment points are thoroughly dried after washing.
Heated styling tools can be used on the human hair with an appropriate heat-protection product. Avoid applying direct heat to the bonded tips and Nano Ring attachment area.

#4 Chocolate Brown is a classic brunette shade with a rich, chocolate-brown appearance. It offers noticeable brunette depth while providing a softer finish than the darker #2 Dark Brown and #3 Dark Chocolate Brown shades.
This makes #4 particularly useful for naturally medium-to-dark brown hair where the deeper brunette shades appear too dark. If your hair has greater depth through the mid-lengths and ends, #3 Dark Chocolate Brown may provide a closer match.
Chocolate brunette hair often contains subtle tonal variation, so #4 can also be combined with neighbouring brunette shades when a multi-tonal blend is required.
