The HairX Pro Tape Application Plier is designed for professional application of compatible Tape-In Hair Extensions. Its smooth jaws provide an even pressing surface for bringing the adhesive tape sections together during fitting.
Manufactured from solid stainless steel, the plier features a spring-loaded design and an extended approximately 4cm jaw for working across the width of compatible tape attachments.
Tape-In extensions are fitted by positioning compatible adhesive tape sections around an appropriate section of natural hair. Once correctly positioned, the Tape Application Plier can be used to apply controlled pressure across the attachment.
The smooth jaws are designed to press across the tape attachment without introducing a patterned or serrated jaw surface.
Correct sectioning, alignment and pressure are important when fitting Tape-In Hair Extensions. Professional training in the relevant application method is recommended.

Designed for professional fitting of compatible Tape-In Hair Extensions, this stainless-steel plier has smooth, approximately 4cm jaws that help apply even pressure to correctly aligned tape attachments. Its spring-loaded handles make repeated operation easier.
The tool is approximately 17cm long, measures approximately 9cm wide when open and 5cm when closed, and includes a protective padded carry case.
These individual Chinese Remy human hair extensions use a pre-bonded keratin Nail-Tip / U-Tip attachment and are fitted professionally using a fusion heat connector.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, this range provides a lighter individual strand that is useful for flexible placement and blending.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands.
As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact amount required depends on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the finished result you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is softened using a professional fusion heat connector and secured around an appropriately sized section of natural hair.

With suitable aftercare, the extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. They can be washed, curled and straightened, while care should be taken around the keratin attachments.

Prepare the hair and attachment surfaces in accordance with your chosen Tape-In adhesive system. Create neat, appropriately sized sections and position the two tape sections correctly around the natural hair.
Check alignment before pressing. Close the smooth jaws evenly across the tape sandwich using controlled pressure, following the fitting method and adhesive manufacturer’s instructions. Do not apply excessive force or tug on the attachment.
Check the completed attachment and keep adhesive away from the scalp as directed by the fitting system.
Make sure attachment surfaces are clean and dry and free from oils or conditioners before fitting. Work with neat sections and avoid catching stray hairs between the tape tabs.
Align tape sections fully before using the plier. The smooth jaws distribute pressing pressure; they do not replace correct placement, adhesive preparation, or the recommended attachment setting instructions.

For professional use with compatible Tape-In systems. Use controlled pressure and keep fingers away from the closing jaws. Never clamp onto the scalp or use this tool to forcibly remove adhesive attachments.
Wipe away residue after use, dry thoroughly and store in the supplied padded case. Inspect the jaws and spring mechanism regularly; stop using the tool if damaged or misaligned.
For removal, use appropriate Tape-In adhesive remover and removal tools rather than pulling the tapes apart with this plier.

Eligible unused tools can be returned under the usual 28-day goodwill returns period, subject to the published returns policy. For a change-of-mind return, keep the tool unused and in its original packaging with the padded carry case.
