Add dimensional brunette colour and natural-looking graduation with our #2 Dark Brown to #10 Light Brown 18 Inch 0.5g Ombré Stick-Tip (I-Tip) Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, these individual extensions transition from rich #2 Dark Brown at the top into softer #10 Light Brown through the lower lengths.

Each strand weighs approximately 0.5g, providing approximately 12.5g of hair across 25 strands. The two-tone ombré design creates a gradual brunette transition, making it a useful choice when you want darker depth near the upper section with a noticeably lighter brown finish towards the ends.

What Are Ombré Stick-Tip Hair Extensions?

Ombré extensions combine two complementary colours within the same strand, creating a gradual transition from a darker upper shade into a lighter colour through the lower lengths and ends.

With this combination, #2 Dark Brown provides the rich, deep-brunette upper colour before transitioning into #10 Light Brown. This creates more tonal variation than a single-colour brunette extension.

Stick-Tip hair extensions, also known as I-Tip extensions, are individual human hair strands designed to be secured to small sections of natural hair using suitable extension rings or beads.

During fitting, a small section of natural hair is threaded through a Micro Ring or Micro Bead. The Stick-Tip extension is then inserted into the attachment before it is secured using professional extension pliers.

Micro Ring application does not require heat, glue or bonding adhesive to be applied to the natural hair during fitting.

At approximately 0.5g per strand, these extensions provide a lighter amount of hair at each individual attachment than 1.0g strands. Their smaller strand weight allows the required overall amount of extension hair to be distributed across a greater number of individual attachment points.

Professional consultation and fitting are recommended to determine the appropriate attachment type, strand quantity and placement for the natural hair and desired finished result.

How Many 0.5g Stick-Tip Strands Do I Need?

These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. For this 0.5g range, the recommended guide is approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) for a full-head application and around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) for a half-head application.

The exact quantity required will depend on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the amount of additional length or volume you want to achieve. The amount of visible ombré colour required should also be considered when planning strand placement.

We recommend discussing the required quantity and placement with your hairstylist before ordering.

Important quantity information: The price shown is for 25 individual 0.5g strands, providing approximately 12.5g of hair in total. Product imagery may show packets containing four bundles or more, so please use the stated strand quantity when calculating how much hair you require.

Stick-Tip Hair Extension Fitting

A suitable Micro Ring or Micro Bead is positioned onto a small section of natural hair using a hook or loop threading tool. The Stick-Tip extension is then inserted into the attachment before it is secured using professional extension pliers.

Correct section size, attachment selection and placement are important for a secure and comfortable application. View our Stick-Tip / I-Tip Hair Extension Fitting Guide for detailed fitting information.

Stick-Tip Hair Extension Removal

Stick-Tip extensions fitted with Micro Rings or Micro Beads should be removed carefully by opening the attachments using suitable removal pliers before gently releasing the individual extension strands from the natural hair.

View our Stick-Tip / I-Tip Micro Ring Removal Guide for step-by-step removal information.

Stick-Tip Hair Extension Aftercare

With appropriate fitting, care and maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. The human hair can be washed, blow-dried and styled, but correct care of both the extension hair and attachment areas is important throughout wear.

Always use a suitable heat-protection product when using hair dryers, straighteners, curling tools or other heated styling equipment on the extension hair. Avoid applying direct heat to the Micro Ring or Micro Bead attachment areas.

Oils, conditioners and heavy styling products should also be kept away from the fitted points, as these may contribute to slippage. Brush the extensions carefully while supporting the attachment areas.

Follow our Hair Extension Aftercare Guide for full maintenance information.

Choosing #2 Dark Brown to #10 Light Brown

#2 Dark Brown to #10 Light Brown creates a noticeable but coordinated brunette ombré effect. The upper section begins with rich #2 Dark Brown before graduating into the softer #10 Light Brown shade through the lower lengths.

#2 Dark Brown is a rich, deep brunette shade, while #10 Light Brown provides a much lighter and softer brown finish. Combining the two allows the colour to retain brunette depth near the top while becoming progressively lighter towards the ends.

Compared with the #1B Off Black to #8 Medium Brown ombré combination, this pairing starts with a slightly softer dark-brunette upper shade and finishes with a lighter brown at the ends, creating an overall lighter brunette transition.

Ombré shades can appear different depending on lighting, surrounding hair colour and screen settings. For the best comparison, check both the darker upper colour and lighter lower colour against your natural hair in good natural daylight.
