Add cool silver-toned length and fuller-looking results with our Silver 18 Inch 0.5g Stick-Tip (I-Tip) Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, these silky-straight individual extensions feature slim pre-bonded Stick-Tip ends designed for professional fitting using suitable Micro Beads, Micro Rings or Shrinkies.
Each strand weighs approximately 0.5g, providing approximately 12.5g of hair across 25 strands. Silver is a cool, bright grey-silver shade with a more noticeable silvery finish than standard Grey, making it particularly suited to hair with lighter, cooler grey and silver tones.
Stick-Tip hair extensions, also known as I-Tip extensions, are individual human hair strands supplied with a slim, firm tip designed to be secured to small sections of natural hair using a suitable attachment method.
With a Micro Bead or Micro Ring fitting, a small section of natural hair and the Stick-Tip extension are positioned through the attachment before it is secured using professional extension pliers. This application method does not require heat.
Stick-Tips can also be fitted using suitable Shrinkies. With this method, controlled heat is applied using a Hair Extension Heat Connector to secure the Shrinkie around the extension and natural hair.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, these extensions provide a lightweight individual-strand option that allows a stylist to control the placement and distribution of hair throughout the application. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact quantity required will depend on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the amount of additional length or volume you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
The attachments and tools required will depend on the fitting method being used. Micro Bead and Micro Ring applications require suitable attachments and professional extension pliers, while Shrinkie applications require compatible Shrinkies and controlled heat.

When fitting with Micro Beads or Micro Rings, a suitable attachment is positioned onto a small section of natural hair, the Stick-Tip extension is inserted and the attachment is secured using professional extension pliers.
When fitting with Shrinkies, the extension and natural hair are positioned within the attachment before controlled heat is applied to secure it.

Stick-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using the appropriate technique for the attachment method used. Micro Beads or Micro Rings are opened using suitable removal pliers before the individual extension strand is gently released from the natural hair.

With appropriate fitting, care and maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. Correct care of both the human hair and attachment areas is important throughout wear.
Avoid applying oils, conditioners or heavy styling products directly around the attachment areas, as this may contribute to slippage. Keep direct heat away from Micro Beads, Micro Rings, Shrinkies and other attachment points, and brush the extensions carefully while supporting the fitted areas.

Silver is a cool, bright grey-silver shade with a clearer silvery appearance than standard Grey. It is particularly suited to natural or coloured hair where lighter grey, silver or cool-toned strands are visible through the mid-lengths and ends.
Compared with Grey, Silver is brighter and cooler. Grey has a softer, more neutral and subdued appearance, while Silver provides a lighter and more noticeable silver-toned finish.
Compared with #60 Platinum Blonde, Silver has a distinctly greyer and cooler appearance. #60 remains a very light natural blonde with subtle warm/yellow tones rather than a true silver or icy-grey shade.
Silver and grey shades can appear lighter or darker depending on surrounding hair and lighting, so compare the colour in good natural daylight wherever possible.
For the best colour comparison, check the extensions against the mid-lengths and ends of your natural hair rather than matching only against the roots.
