Add cool ash-blonde length and fuller-looking results with our #16 Ash Blonde 22 Inch 1.0g Nail-Tip (U-Tip) Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, these individual extensions feature pre-bonded keratin nail-shaped tips designed for professional fusion application.
Each strand weighs approximately 1.0g, providing approximately 25g of hair across 25 strands. #16 Ash Blonde is a cool, muted blonde shade with less noticeable golden warmth, making it particularly suited to ash-toned, cooler blonde and multi-tonal hair.
Nail-Tip hair extensions are individual human hair strands supplied with a pre-bonded keratin tip. During fitting, the keratin bond is heated using a Hair Extension Heat Connector and secured around a small section of the natural hair.
At approximately 1.0g per strand, these extensions contain more hair in each individual strand than the 0.5g option. This allows more hair to be added using fewer individual bonds, although the most appropriate strand weight and quantity will depend on the density and condition of the natural hair and the desired finished result. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. As a general guide, approximately 100–125 strands (4–5 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 50–75 strands (2–3 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact quantity required depends on factors including your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the amount of length or volume you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is softened using a fusion heat connector and formed around an appropriately sized section of natural hair during application.

Nail-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using the appropriate removal technique and products to soften and separate the keratin bonds from the natural hair.

With appropriate maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 8–12 weeks. The human hair can be washed and styled, but correct care of both the extensions and keratin bonds is important throughout wear.

#16 Ash Blonde is a cool, muted blonde shade with less noticeable golden warmth than the warmer blonde colours in the range. It is particularly suited to natural or coloured blonde hair with cooler, ash-toned colouring through the mid-lengths and ends.
Compared with #14 Dark Caramel, #16 Ash Blonde is lighter and considerably cooler in appearance. #14 contains warm caramel and golden tones, while #16 provides a softer, more subdued ash-blonde finish.
Compared with #18 Honey Blonde, #16 Ash Blonde has noticeably less golden warmth. #18 is better suited where the natural hair has warm honey or golden colouring.
#16 Ash Blonde can also blend well with multi-tonal blonde hair containing a mixture of cooler, muted and neutral blonde shades.
