Add naturally dark length and fullness with our #1B Off Black 18 Inch 0.5g Nail-Tip (U-Tip) Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, these individual pre-bonded extensions feature keratin nail-shaped tips designed for professional fusion application.
Each strand weighs approximately 0.5g, giving approximately 12.5g of hair across 25 strands. #1B Off Black is a very dark, natural-looking shade with a softer appearance than true Jet Black, making it ideal for hair that appears black but shows subtle brunette tones in daylight.
Nail-Tip hair extensions are individual human hair strands supplied with a pre-bonded keratin tip. During fitting, the keratin bond is heated using a Hair Extension Heat Connector and secured around a small section of the natural hair.
Each strand weighs approximately 0.5g. Because Nail-Tip extensions are fitted individually, a stylist can plan the placement and number of strands according to your natural hair, required coverage and desired finished result. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact quantity required can vary depending on your natural hair density, thickness, existing length and the amount of length or volume you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is heated and formed around an appropriately sized section of natural hair during application.

Nail-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using the appropriate removal technique and products to soften and separate the keratin bonds from the natural hair.

With appropriate maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. The hair can be washed and styled, but correct care of both the extensions and keratin bonds is important throughout wear.

#1B Off Black is a very dark shade with a softer and more natural appearance than true Jet Black. It is particularly suited to hair that looks black overall but reveals subtle brunette colouring in natural daylight.
Compared with #1 Jet Black, #1B Off Black has slightly less intensity and a softer dark finish. If your natural hair is a strong, true black with little or no visible brown tone, #1 Jet Black may provide a closer match.
#1B Off Black can also work well where the natural hair contains a mixture of black and extremely dark brunette tones through the mid-lengths and ends.
For the best colour comparison, check the extensions against the mid-lengths and ends of your natural hair in good natural daylight rather than matching only against the roots.
