The HairX Pro Tape Scraper Tool is designed to assist with removing old adhesive from compatible Tape-In Hair Extensions when preparing the extensions for reapplication.
The scraper provides a controlled way to work softened adhesive residue away from the Tape-In tab area and is supplied with 10 replacement scraper blades. It can also be used alongside the HairX Pro Tape Removal Board, available as part of our complete Tape Tabs Removal Kit.
When Tape-In extensions are being prepared for refitting, the existing adhesive normally needs to be removed before new replacement tape tabs are applied.
The HairX Pro Tape Scraper Tool is designed to help lift and remove softened adhesive residue from the Tape-In tab area using a controlled scraping action.
The scraper is supplied with 10 replacement blades, allowing the working blade to be changed when it becomes worn, damaged or otherwise unsuitable for continued use.
Inspect the blade before each use and replace it when necessary to maintain appropriate control during adhesive removal.
Before using the scraper, we recommend applying a compatible Tape-In Hair Extensions Remover to help soften the existing adhesive.
Allow the remover suitable time to work before carefully working the scraper across the adhesive tab area. Avoid applying excessive pressure if the residue remains resistant.
Place the Tape-In extension on a suitable protected working surface with the adhesive tab accessible. Once the old adhesive has been softened with a compatible remover, position the scraper at the edge of the adhesive and carefully work across the tab area to lift away the residue.
Repeat the process as required until the old adhesive has been sufficiently removed. The extension should then be appropriately cleaned and prepared before new adhesive is applied.
Once the old adhesive has been removed and the Tape-In extension has been correctly cleaned and prepared, compatible HairX Pro Replacement Tape Tabs can be applied before professional refitting.
Correct cleaning and preparation are important because residual remover, oils or old adhesive can affect the performance of replacement tape.
For a dedicated working surface, the scraper can be paired with our HairX Pro Tape Removal Board. The complete scraper and board system is available in the HairX Pro Tape Tabs Removal Kit .
The complete kit includes the working board, scraper, replacement blades and carry case for professional Tape-In adhesive preparation.

These individual Chinese Remy human hair extensions use a pre-bonded keratin Nail-Tip / U-Tip attachment and are fitted professionally using a fusion heat connector.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, this range provides a lighter individual strand that is useful for flexible placement and blending.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands.
As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact amount required depends on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the finished result you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is softened using a professional fusion heat connector and secured around an appropriately sized section of natural hair.

Nail-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using suitable professional removal products and tools to soften and separate the keratin attachment from the natural hair.

With suitable aftercare, the extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. They can be washed, curled and straightened, while care should be taken around the keratin attachments.

Recommended use: Trained hair extension professionals
1. Professionally remove the Tape-In extensions from the client's natural hair using an appropriate Tape-In adhesive remover and removal technique.
2. Inspect the removed extension panels to confirm they are suitable for cleaning and potential refitting.
3. Apply a compatible remover to the remaining old adhesive on the extension tab and allow it to soften according to the remover's instructions.
4. Place the Tape-In extension securely on a suitable protected working surface, such as the HairX Pro Tape Removal Board, with the adhesive panel accessible.
5. Keep fingers and extension hair clear of the blade. Carefully position the scraper at the edge of the softened adhesive.
6. Using gentle, controlled movements, lift the softened adhesive residue away from the attachment area without scraping into the extension hair or damaging the panel.
7. If adhesive remains resistant, apply additional compatible remover and allow more time rather than forcing the scraper.
8. Once the old adhesive is removed, clean the extension tab to remove remaining residue, remover and oils, then allow it to dry fully.
9. Apply compatible replacement Tape Tabs to suitable extension panels before professional refitting.
10. Inspect and clean the scraper after use. Replace damaged or worn blades safely and store the tool securely.
• Use the scraper only on Tape-In extensions that have already been removed from natural hair.
• Apply a compatible Tape-In adhesive remover first to soften old adhesive before scraping.
• Support the extension panel on a firm, protected surface to maintain good control.
• Work gradually from the edge of the softened adhesive, keeping fingers and extension hair clear of the blade.
• If adhesive remains resistant, apply more compatible remover rather than increasing scraping pressure.
• Avoid cutting, stretching or damaging the Tape-In attachment area.
• Inspect the blade before use and replace worn, loose or damaged blades when necessary.
• Remove all old adhesive and oily remover residue before applying fresh Tape Tabs.
• Allow cleaned attachment panels to dry completely before retaping.
• The complete HairX Pro Tape Tabs Removal Kit is available if a dedicated working board is also required.
• SHARP BLADE WARNING: The scraper and replacement blades have sharp edges. Keep fingers and skin away from the cutting edge.
• Never use the scraper directly on a client's scalp or natural hair.
• Handle blade changes carefully, following the tool's instructions.
• Dispose of used or damaged blades using a suitable sharps-disposal method.
• Inspect the scraper and fitted blade before use. Do not use damaged or loose components.
• Avoid excessive scraping pressure that could cause the tool to slip or damage the extension panel.
• Follow all safety instructions supplied with any compatible Tape-In adhesive remover.
• If using a flammable remover, work in a suitably ventilated area away from heat, sparks and ignition sources.
• Clean and dry the scraper after use, storing it with the blade safely protected.
• Keep the scraper and replacement blades away from children. Professional training is recommended.
