Add cool silver length and fullness with our Silver 18 Inch 0.5g Nail-Tip (U-Tip) Hair Extensions. Made from Chinese Remy human hair, these individual pre-bonded extensions feature keratin nail-shaped tips designed for professional fusion application.
Each strand weighs approximately 0.5g, giving approximately 12.5g of hair across 25 strands. Silver is a cool grey-silver shade suited to silver-toned hair, cooler grey colouring and creative multi-tonal looks where a brighter, cooler finish is required.
Nail-Tip hair extensions are individual human hair strands supplied with a pre-bonded keratin tip. During fitting, the keratin bond is heated using a Hair Extension Heat Connector and secured around a small section of the natural hair.
Each strand weighs approximately 0.5g. Because Nail-Tip extensions are fitted individually, a stylist can plan the placement and number of strands according to your natural hair, required coverage and desired finished result. Professional consultation and fitting are recommended.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands. As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact quantity required can vary depending on your natural hair density, thickness, existing length and the amount of length or volume you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is heated and formed around an appropriately sized section of natural hair during application.

Nail-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using the appropriate removal technique and products to soften and separate the keratin bonds from the natural hair.

With appropriate maintenance, these extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. The human hair can be straightened or curled as required, but correct care of both the extensions and keratin bonds is important throughout wear.

Silver is a cool grey-silver shade with a brighter, more metallic-looking character than a traditional neutral grey. It is particularly suited to silver-toned hair and cooler grey colouring through the mid-lengths and ends.
Compared with Grey, Silver has a cooler and more pronounced grey-silver appearance. Grey provides a softer, more neutral finish, while Silver is better suited where a cooler and brighter tone is required.
Silver can also work well with multi-tonal hair containing a mixture of cool grey and silver shades.
For the best colour comparison, check the extensions against the mid-lengths and ends of your natural hair in good natural daylight rather than matching only against the roots.
