The HairX Pro Tape Tabs Removal Kit is designed to assist professionals with removing old adhesive tabs from compatible Tape-In Hair Extensions when preparing them for reapplication.
The kit combines a stretch-resistant curved-edge working board, dedicated removal scraper, 10 replacement scraper blades and a velvet carry case, providing the main tools required for working on used Tape-In tabs away from the client's hair.
When Tape-In extensions are being prepared for refitting, the existing adhesive generally needs to be removed before fresh replacement tabs are applied.
The HairX Pro kit provides a dedicated working surface and scraper for carefully working away softened adhesive residue from compatible Tape-In extension tabs.
The included board measures approximately 24cm x 16cm and provides a designated surface on which to position the Tape-In extension while the old adhesive is being worked away.
Its curved-edge design can assist with positioning during the removal process, while keeping the scraping work on a dedicated surface rather than directly on salon furniture or worktops.
A dedicated removal scraper is supplied for carefully lifting and removing softened adhesive from the Tape-In tab area.
The kit also includes 10 replacement scraper blades, allowing the blade to be replaced when it is no longer suitable for continued use.
Before scraping away the old adhesive, we recommend using a compatible Tape-In Hair Extensions Remover to help soften and release the existing Tape-In adhesive.
Once the remover has had suitable time to work, position the extension on the board and carefully use the scraper to remove the softened adhesive residue from the tab area.
After the old adhesive has been removed and the Tape-In extension has been appropriately cleaned and prepared, compatible HairX Pro Replacement Tape Tabs can be applied before professional refitting.
The complete kit is supplied with a velvet carry case for storing the board, scraper and accessories together between professional services.

These individual Chinese Remy human hair extensions use a pre-bonded keratin Nail-Tip / U-Tip attachment and are fitted professionally using a fusion heat connector.
At approximately 0.5g per strand, this range provides a lighter individual strand that is useful for flexible placement and blending.
These extensions are supplied in quantities of 25 strands.
As a general guide, approximately 150–200 strands (6–8 bundles) may be used for a full-head application, while around 75–100 strands (3–4 bundles) may be used for a half-head application.
The exact amount required depends on your natural hair thickness, density, existing length and the finished result you want to achieve. We recommend discussing the required quantity with your hairstylist before ordering.
Nail-Tip extensions use a heat-fusion fitting method. The pre-bonded keratin tip is softened using a professional fusion heat connector and secured around an appropriately sized section of natural hair.

Nail-Tip extensions should be removed carefully using suitable professional removal products and tools to soften and separate the keratin attachment from the natural hair.

With suitable aftercare, the extensions can be worn for approximately 2–3 months. They can be washed, curled and straightened, while care should be taken around the keratin attachments.

Board dimensions: Approximately 24cm × 16cm
Scraper: 1 professional Tape Tab Removal Scraper
Replacement blades: 10 included
Storage: 1 velvet carry case
Suitable for: Compatible reusable Tape-In Hair Extensions
Recommended additional product: Compatible Tape-In adhesive remover (not listed as included)
Recommended use: Trained hair extension professionals
1. First, remove the Tape-In extensions from the client's natural hair using a suitable professional Tape-In removal method and compatible adhesive remover.
2. Examine the removed extension panels to confirm that they are in suitable condition for cleaning and potential refitting.
3. Apply an appropriate Tape-In adhesive remover to the old adhesive, following the remover manufacturer's instructions and allowing sufficient time for it to soften.
4. Position the extension panel securely on the kit's curved-edge working board, keeping the hair lengths and your fingers clear of the scraping area.
5. Use the supplied scraper carefully to lift and remove softened adhesive from the Tape-In attachment panel. Work with controlled movements to avoid damaging the tab or weft construction.
6. If adhesive remains resistant, apply additional compatible remover as directed. Do not scrape aggressively.
7. Once the old tape has been removed, clean the extension's attachment area thoroughly to remove adhesive, remover and other residues.
8. Allow the prepared panel to dry completely before applying compatible HairX Pro Replacement Tape Tabs.
9. Refit suitable Tape-In extensions using the correct professional application method.
10. Clean the tools, inspect the scraper blade and store the kit safely in its velvet case after use.
• This kit is intended for preparing removed Tape-In extension panels, not for scraping adhesive directly from the client's scalp or natural hair.
• Use a compatible Tape-In remover to soften the existing adhesive before attempting to scrape it away.
• Keep each extension panel stable on the approximately 24cm × 16cm working board.
• Work with gentle, controlled scraping movements to protect the extension's attachment area.
• Avoid dragging the scraper across the hair lengths or repeatedly scraping a resistant adhesive patch.
• Replace the scraper blade when it becomes unsuitable for controlled, safe use.
• Check the cleaned Tape-In panels for wear or damage before deciding whether the extensions can be reused.
• Remove all traces of old adhesive, remover and oily residue before applying fresh replacement tape.
• Allow the attachment areas to dry fully before retaping.
• Professional preparation and correct application techniques are essential for a secure, comfortable refit.
• SHARP BLADES: The scraper and replacement blades have cutting edges. Keep fingers and skin away from the working edge at all times.
• Never use the scraper directly on the client's scalp or natural hair. Work only on a suitable, removed Tape-In extension panel.
• Handle blade changes carefully. Do not attempt to replace or adjust the blade while applying pressure to the working surface.
• Dispose of used or damaged blades safely in a suitable sharps container or other appropriate sharps-disposal system.
• Follow the warnings and instructions for any separate Tape-In adhesive remover used with this kit.
• If the chosen remover contains flammable solvents, ensure adequate ventilation and keep it away from flames, sparks and heated styling tools.
• Do not use excessive scraping force, as this may damage the extension panel or create a slipping hazard.
• Check the scraper, blades and board for damage before use. Replace worn or unsafe components.
• Clean and dry the tools appropriately before storage. Keep blades protected in the velvet carry case.
• Keep the kit and all sharp accessories out of reach of children. Professional training is recommended.
