The HairX Pro Tape Tabs Removal Kit is designed to assist professionals with removing old adhesive tabs from compatible Tape-In Hair Extensions when preparing them for reapplication.
The kit combines a stretch-resistant curved-edge working board, dedicated removal scraper, 10 replacement scraper blades and a velvet carry case, providing the main tools required for working on used Tape-In tabs away from the client's hair.
When Tape-In extensions are being prepared for refitting, the existing adhesive generally needs to be removed before fresh replacement tabs are applied.
The HairX Pro kit provides a dedicated working surface and scraper for carefully working away softened adhesive residue from compatible Tape-In extension tabs.
The included board measures approximately 24cm x 16cm and provides a designated surface on which to position the Tape-In extension while the old adhesive is being worked away.
Its curved-edge design can assist with positioning during the removal process, while keeping the scraping work on a dedicated surface rather than directly on salon furniture or worktops.
A dedicated removal scraper is supplied for carefully lifting and removing softened adhesive from the Tape-In tab area.
The kit also includes 10 replacement scraper blades, allowing the blade to be replaced when it is no longer suitable for continued use.
Before scraping away the old adhesive, we recommend using a compatible Tape-In Hair Extensions Remover to help soften and release the existing Tape-In adhesive.
Once the remover has had suitable time to work, position the extension on the board and carefully use the scraper to remove the softened adhesive residue from the tab area.
After the old adhesive has been removed and the Tape-In extension has been appropriately cleaned and prepared, compatible HairX Pro Replacement Tape Tabs can be applied before professional refitting.
The complete kit is supplied with a velvet carry case for storing the board, scraper and accessories together between professional services.
